Can Karisma Kapoor's children get a part of Sunjay Kapur's ₹30,000-crore empire?

Anushkaa Arora, Principal & Founder of ABA Law Office, says, "A divorce settlement between spouses does not prevent children from claiming their share. Even if a settlement existed, it would bind only the spouses. The child's statutory rights are independent and protected by law."

She points out, "Moreover, any waiver of inheritance by a minor would be void because of their lack of legal capacity. Indian courts do not allow minors to forfeit their rights before the succession opens."
