Ms Anushkaa Arora, Ld. Senior Panel Counsel, for the Union of India, successfully defends the Union of India in the case of Dr. Neha Chandra v. UOI & Ors., in a notable case passed by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court over territorial jurisdiction in filing civil writ petitions.

In the said case, Ms. Arora emphatically argued in favor of the UOI and countered the judgments cited by the Petitioner. The Hon’ble Court, while dismissing the said writ petition (civil), observed in detail and, by placing reliance on various other landmark judgments, that the Petitioner could not merely choose a forum to file a civil writ if the head office and other such mere factors arose/was in Delhi jurisdiction.
